Project Officer (Video Production & Editing)
Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible for video-related planning and production. The successful candidate should possess basic photography and videography skills and be able to collaborate with the team in developing visual content, conducting on-site shooting, and organizing media materials. The role aims to enhance the overall quality of project deliverables and improve the effectiveness of visual communication.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the development of video content concepts and filming plans, including topic ideation, visual composition, and production workflow arrangements.
Demonstrate basic photography and videography skills, and support on-site collection, organization, and file management of both still and motion footage.
Provide basic video editing and script development support to ensure that final products align with the unit’s image and brand identity.
Collaborate across departments and coordinate filming requirements with various university units.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
At least one year of relevant professional experience in video or visual media production.
Basic proficiency in video editing software; familiarity with Adobe Premiere or other related editing tools is preferred.
Foundational knowledge and practical experience in photography/videography (Sony equipment), including composition, lighting techniques, and standard production workflows.
Strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility, with the ability to coordinate across departments and meet project timelines.
Appointment Term and Salary & Benefits
The appointment is on a one-year contract basis, renewable upon satisfactory performance. A three-month probationary period applies, and continued employment is subject to evaluation upon completion.
Work Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexible adjustments depending on project needs.
Work Location: Project Integration Division, Office of Sustainability and Strategic Development, National Cheng Kung University(4F, West Wing, Yun-Ping Building)
Salary will follow NCKU’s compensation standards for project-based staff:
Bachelor’s degree: starting from NTD 36,861
Master’s degree: starting from NTD 41,730

Preferred Qualifications
