About Office of Sustainability Strategy and Development
The Office of Sustainable Strategic and Development, guided by the University’s vision and supported by institutional data analysis, ensures that all initiatives align with NCKU’s development goals. It assists senior leadership in addressing global higher education trends, government policies, societal needs, and emerging challenges. The Office not only coordinates university-wide strategies and projects but also provides timely responses to stakeholders and forward-looking advisory services, ensuring coherence across all units.
Through these efforts, NCKU strengthens its priorities, leverages its advantages, fulfills stakeholder expectations, and actively engages with sustainability and global networks to establish itself as a university of significant impact.

Our Duty

Define sustainable development goals, strategies, and action plans.

Embed sustainability into teaching, research, service, and governance.

Establish and oversee sustainability task forces to implement action plans.

Advance sustainable campus governance internally and contribute to societal sustainability externally.
