Project Officer (Information Systems / Statistics)
Job Responsibilities
Information Systems Track
Develop, maintain, and provide technical support for the university’s institutional data system under the Higher Education Sprout Project.
Perform internal data integration and ensure information security management for the system.
Assist with administrative coordination, data compilation, and implementation tasks related to the institutional data system and the Higher Education Sprout Project.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Statistics Track
Conduct institutional data analysis and related research under the Higher Education Sprout Project.
Support internal project-based data analysis, data organization, and research report writing.
Assist with administrative coordination, data compilation, and implementation tasks related to the institutional data system and the Higher Education Sprout Project.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
A degree (Bachelor’s or above) from a domestic or international university in information technology, statistics, data science, or related fields.
Applicants must submit a copy of the diploma.
For degrees obtained overseas, certification documents issued by a representative office abroad are required.
Information Systems Track applicants must demonstrate:(1) System development, design, and programming capabilities(2) Ability to prepare system development documentation and user manuals
Statistics Track applicants must demonstrate:(1) Skills in statistical testing, numerical analysis, and data processing(2) Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS, or equivalent tools
Strong organizational skills, cross-departmental communication and coordination ability, proactive work planning, and a high sense of responsibility and dedication.Applicants must be able to complete assigned tasks within required timelines.
Salary
Project Staff Salary (monthly):
Bachelor’s degree, Level 1: NTD 36,861
Master’s degree, Level 1: NTD 41,730
Salary adjustments will follow NCKU’s compensation standards for project-based staff.Relevant prior work experience may be considered in accordance with the University’s salary step advancement principles for contract employees.
