AI Talent Development Program Achieves Over 80% Industry Placement Rate
As the southern Taiwan training hub for the Ministry of Economic Affairs' AI Talent Development Program, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) provides integrated training in AI theory, hands-on practice, and real-world applications. The first eight-month cohort achieved an industry placement rate of over 80%, with participants securing internships or full-time positions across sectors including semiconductors, smart manufacturing, medical AI, and technology services. The results highlight NCKU’s success in cultivating industry-ready AI talent while strengthening industry-academia collaboration.

NCKU Innovation Dreams Come True Project Wins Multiple Awards at FITI Finals
Supported by Taiwan’s Higher Education Sprout Project, National Cheng Kung University’s (NCKU) Innovation Dreams Come True Project has nurtured early-stage startups since 2018, supporting 267 teams, helping establish 29 startup companies, and securing 114 innovation awards and grants. This year, two project teams excelled in the National Science and Technology Council’s From IP to IPO Program (FITI) finals: Atlas Industries won the prestigious Entrepreneurship Pioneer Award and a NT$1 million prize, while Ctrlix Co., Ltd. received the Entrepreneurship Potential Award. These achievements highlight NCKU’s strong startup ecosystem, supporting innovators from idea development to commercialization.
