About
As the seasons quietly turn, NCKU’s administrative team has dressed the lawn in front of the Library in radiant new colors. Amid the garden’s hues and fragrance, what blossoms here is more than natural beauty—it is a living emblem of NCKU’s spirit of growth, friendship, and shared prosperity. This season, the lawn welcomes two protagonists: Zinnia and Cosmos.
Zinnia’s floriography is “enduring friendship.” Its stems climb node by node, signifying steady advancement and steadfast perseverance. In that poise, we see NCKU’s students and alumni—ascending in scholarship and in life, moving toward the light, rising from Tainan to bloom on the world stage.
Cosmos floriography is “innocence, harmony, resilience, and everlasting joy.” With vivid petals swaying in the breeze, it carries a sense of freedom and inclusion—just like NCKU’s campus, where diversity is respected and the world is embraced.
“When flowers bloom, butterflies come naturally.” As knowledge and nature—and city and campus—grow in harmony, NCKU’s story continues to blossom gently across the globe.
